Good Church

The House Church is the only Church Gathering pattern in NT scripture. The 2nd temple building was destroyed and never replaced.

The NT describes believers meeting in homes as the only consistent fellowship and worship pattern. In persecution and peacetime.

The 7 churches in Revelation were city wide networks of House Churches in each of those 7 cities. There were no church building structures in those cities when John wrote the Book of Revelation.

This theme of family homes gets deeper.

Jesus told us he is preparing a House for you in Heaven in John 14:1-4.

John 14:1-4 KJV Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house (family household) are many mansions (dwellings, houses, homes): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place (a dwelling, a home) for you. There are no physical buildings or structures that any Apostles, Prophets or Believers built until paganism and idolatry took over commercial Christianity, approx 300AD.

The Spirit of Religion has held Christianity in systemic idolatry ever since. The modern western church and mega churches are a perversion of the NT. I call it… worshipping the “Golden Calf”. Carnal leaders and carnal followers want a “physical” or “golden” thing to look at, to idolize, to conduct “false” worship in, continuing the problems that Idolatry propagate, especially Sexual perversion. Idolatry and Sexual Perversion travel together. Read about it in Exodus 32.

In the future in the New Heaven and New Earth… again, there is no physical temple building, but temple is the “persons” of Father God and Jesus. They are the temple.

Revelation of John 21:22 KJV And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it…

Christians are to come out of Idolatry !! This needs to be called out. Debated, pressed and contended with. Many believers will perish. Many leaders will perish.

Leave the pagan building and system Sell it, burn it down… but get out… and worship the Lord and fellowship with each other according to the only design the Holy Spirit has taught in the NT. There is nothing else, and the prize is so worth contending for. Correct Church assembly, aligned to the NT determines if leaders and disciples are real, and if disciples are actually produced.

The Holy Spirit will always confirm the Truth of the Word.

By faith we walk God’s way, not man’s way.

Jesus instructed us to make disciples, and Jesus said He will build His Church.
